Travel to several Tibetan towns, admire the magical Mansarovar Lake and finally do the Kailash Kora
Our trip to Lhasa and Mansarover Lake and Kailash Kora started in Lhasa, and Lhasa is also considered the cradle of Tibetan civilization. Then we travel through several Tibetan cities to the charming Lake Mansarover and finally to the Sacred Mountain. Kailash. During our trip to the Tibetan city, we visited incredible places and monasteries such as the Potala Palace, the Tashilhunpo Monastery, the Phalkot Monastery, Gyantse Dzong, the Shalu Temple and more.
For a devoted adventure explorer, this trip offers the immense beauty of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, solitude and sense of accomplishment, and visits Lake Mansarovar and the mountains for devout pilgrims. Kailash will be the ultimate realization of his spiritual quest.
Important information :
1.You need to arrive 3 days earlier to start tour .
2.Send the valid (at least 6 month )copy of your passport .
3.Each Saturday we will have fix departure so need to confirm 1 month earlier to book trip.
4.We will have BB plan so you can order the food own your own.
5,At least need to pay 20% of total amount while booking trip.If you need Sherpa crew please add another 500$ in your total amount .
6.Do not expect high and luxury life at Kailash because this is landscape and Cultural tour .
7.HAN always suggest you to have insurance and all health fitness .
8.We organize 4 days tour here in Nepal before departing to Tibet as well.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650m/11,972ft)
Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital: 5 – 6 hours
Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar: 5 – 6 hours
Day 04: Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795 ft): 367km, 8 – 9 hours
Day 05: Shigatse to Saga (4,640 m/15,223ft): 447km, 9-10 hours
Day 06: Saga to Mansarover Lake (4,556m/ 14947ft): 370km, 6-7 hours
Day 07: Mansarover to Darchen(4,600m/15091ft):50 km, 1hour
Day 08: Kailash Kora: 56km, 3 days
Day 09: Kora
Day 10: Kora ends, back to Saga: 495 km, 7-8 hours
Day 11: Saga to Shigatse: 445 Kms, 8-9 hours
Day 12: Shigatse to Lhasa: 265 km, 4-5 hours
Day 13: Final departure
Bedroom
We will stay at the Kyichu hotel in Lhasa, the Gesar hotel in Shigatse and the teahouses in Saga, Manasarovar and Kailash Kora. All accommodation is shared by two people. A single supplement is available upon request and costs USD 780.
Food
Breakfast (limited) will be served in Lhasa and Shigatse. Therefore, it is better to reserve a food budget for breakfast elsewhere, as well as for lunch and dinner.
Best travel time
The summer months from May to September are ideal for this trip. The climate is pleasant and the weather is pleasant. The average temperature is around 0 to 20 degrees Celsius. In addition, summer is also suitable for all outdoor activities: visit the temple, immerse yourself in holy water and visit the nearby attractions.
