Kathmandu to Muktinath Jeep Tour – Trip Overview
Our 4-day Muktinath Jeep tour begins in Kathmandu. You can also start from Pokhara. The famous Muktinath temple is located in the high mountains of the Annapurna Himalayas. The Muktinath Temple, 3,800 meters high, is the god of salvation and is known for Hinduism and Buddhist pilgrimages. The pilgrims who arrived there took a spiritual bath in the 108 taps that surrounded the temple and entered the pond in front of the temple, and then they worshiped in the main hall. It is believed that taking a bath in the depths of the tap and the pond will wash away all the sins of life. It is about 400 km from Kathmandu and about 200 km from Pokhara. The road about 70 kilometers from Beni to Muktinath is a rough road. First, stay in Tatopani for 4 days and enjoy a shower in the natural hot springs. Arrive at Muktinath temple at noon the next day and return to Jomsom for the same day. Another day arrives at the natural city of Pokhara. This is another opportunity to explore in Pokhara.
