Lobuche Peak Climbing – Trip Overview:

Due to steep and rocky technical climbing, people must have the right skills to handle ice, ax and rope. Previous experience is a necessary condition to successfully complete this expedition. Day1: Arrival Day at Kathmandu
Day 02: Preparation for trek and Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour
Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours
Day 05: Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 08: Dingboche to Nagerjun (5100m/16728ft) and return Duration: 6 hours
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Duration: 8 hours

Accommodations
We will be staying at 3 star hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. And Single supplement will be served on request and will have additional cost. We will have rooms with attached washrooms in most parts of the trek but according to place it can be afforded. In higher elevations single rooms are not available like in Kathmandu and the lower elevation regions but Himalayan Adventure Nepal will do our best for your happiness.
Meals
All meals will be served during hiking, while Kathmandu and Pokhara only offer breakfast. The hotel will also offer welcome and farewell dinner. The most common dishes on most menus are Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian and the most common Continental.
Can I accomplish this trek?
Though Lobouche Peak climbing is technical and more challenging you still need more stamina, however having some knowledge on using climbing equipments will still be an asset. There will also be a pre -ice climbing training for participants in the Lobouche Peak. The training will mostly be about using climbing gears such as ropes, ice pick, harness, crampons.
There are two dimensions for the Lobouche climbing .Normally you need 5-6 hours of walking every day. In the summiting day however, you will be required to walk for up to for 10-12 hours. Himalayan Adventure Nepal advice you to prepare yourself by jogging 12 km every day for around 3 months before you start your trip. Your pre-existing medical conditions are very important such as heart, lung, and blood diseases to consult their doctor before taking the trip and you need to inform us before booking.
Best Time to Travel
Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for this trek. If you have some other time than this we can customize and make the trip viable.
