Visit Nepal is Fully Safe Now After Massive Earthquake
The catchy eyes of the media was highly watching on buildings, city areas and villages that have been devastated by the quake when there was 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25. This media has been broadcasted Nepal isn’t safe for travel anymore. It was misfortune that they have not highlighted the safe area of Nepal which were unaffected by the earthquake.
The ground and realistic information has been hidden and given some hypothetical information. The eight areas have been affected among 75 districts. Furthermore, the eight areas were not such a prominent area for tourist. Earthquake has not destroyed popular tourist destinations such as Pokhara, Lumbini, Chitwan National Park and Everest and Annapurna trekking regions. It was some exaggeration of the newspaper beyond the ground realities.
As we have the information from Andrew Jones, the vice-chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) it is fully different and unique than the elaboration in outer reality. Jones further stated that,: “I have visited Nepal several times. My first impression towards Nepal after the April 25 deadly earthquake was that the country had been devastated. The international media reports showed that everything had been destroyed. But when I arrived here, it was much better than I had anticipated. To be honest, I didn’t have any problems visiting the country. No dangers at all. In general, I don’t find Nepal unsafe to visit. There are many places in Nepal that have escaped the disaster, and there are many places to visit.” Therefore, the reality is beyond from the surface and shadow understanding.
In addition, our Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation published a press release and said “Nepal is safe and secured place to visit”. It has given some inspiration and gut for all the international visitors. The situation is becoming normal and people have been already returned their normal daily life. They all are doing their own work for well settlement. Various organization have been helped them to make house, school and hospital. Moreover, the tourism industry, that faced the biggest blow due to the earthquake. Now we are eagerly waiting to welcome our guest from the various corner of world.
Your presence in Nepal will be better way of helping people and solving their economic problems. The money used by all visitors will be gone in the society directly and indirectly. Therefore, life short and we have to do a lot. So please do not hesitate to be in Nepal. The best way not to feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Do not wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” ― Barack Obama.
